Closed Cell Foam Insulation Material Online By Foam Supplier.

There are so many grades or types of closed cell foam insulation material available, these are manufactured from different materials including PE, PE-EVA, Vinyl Nitrile, PVC, NBR, Neoprene and EPDM to name a few.  All have different properties and are suitable for different applications.  These applications include Automotive, Electrical & lighting, Construction, Body Protection, Engineering, Domestic Applications, Packaging, Heating & Insulation and Sport and Leisure.

Acoustically & thermally insulating foam grades vary in density and chemical compostion, we will cover two very different foam insulation materials in this foam supplier blog. 

Starting with our 10mm PE Foam Insulation suitable predominantly for thermally insulating a space whether that be a marine vessel, a car or an outbuilding. Our PE foam is stronger and more efficient than many products on the market.

As you can see from the datasheet of our 10mm Closed Cell PE Foam Insulation the working temperature is -79 to 102 degrees C, Tensile strength is a whopping 441 Kpa and of course the flammability is rated at FMVSS302 close to SE. 
The 10mm PE Closed Cell Foam's density is 33Kg/m3 meaning it is lightweight but self supporting and offers great thermal benefits. 
At only 10mm thickness this closed cell foam has the ability to be fitted in many applications to keep condensation at bay and provide a warm to touch surface when faced with extreme cold to the opposing side of the closed cell foam. 
This closed cell foam product will offer a slight benefit acoustically and a great benefit thermally. 

Now let us move on to a product with enhanced acoustic and thermal properties... Our Class 0 PVC Nitrile Closed Cell foam. 
Flexible in nature, this closed cell foam is fanatastic for insulating your boat, car or outbuilding.  At a whopping 19mm thick this foam offers a practicle solution to your foam soundproofing needs. As you can see above the foam is rated at 0.034W/(m-k) at 0 degrees C. This is a fanatastic closed cell thermal insulation foam offering you noticable results both acoustically and thermally.  The acoustic rating is upto 0.8 across a broad range of frequencies meaning it will keep the temperature stable for longer and the noise down! 
The fire class of this 19mm Class 0 Foam Insulation will inspire, many flame tests have been successfully carried out on this foam and it has passed with flying colours.  Designed in black this adds a dash of elegance to the foam making it not only fit for purpose but stylish in situe.
