The glass fiber foil laminate product you are left with is an insulation force to be reckoned with. It will sustain 500 degrees at its glass fiber core and 150 degrees to the foil face improving the over all foams temperature stability from 100 degrees C.
The format of sale for these closed cell and open cell class 0 products is in roll format upto 2m x 1m.
The method of application is usually utilising the self adhesive nature of the products to bond directly to many substrates including metals and some plastics. Then apply the high temperature glass fiber insulation blanket (also with adhesive) over the top of the facing closed cell or open cell foam surface.
We also sell the product in laminate form to create a ready to fit product, however you can achieve a very neat engineered finish with some engineering experience using the two layer approach.
